third party claim

I recently had an accident with a client of Santam whereby he changed lanes from the left to the right thereby knocking into into me on the left side. All necessary paperwork and quotes were filled in but was later told that according to the Apportionment of damages, I would only be paid out about R800 when the lowest quote amounted to about R16000. Their client obviously being at fault here do do not understand why I am being short-changed. I will take this to the social media, the Ombudsman and also notify the motor industry which I work closely with. I expect full compensation for all damages incurred. Claim reference number:***
