TERRIBLE SERVICE FROM SANTAM ACCESOR
I took my vehicle in for a repair that needs to be done on my rear bumper. Everything went well, till the time I discovered that the quote from the panel beaters have been reduced with a +- amount of R8 000.00 on a R30 000.00 quote. After doing my researched I discovered that Santam Assessor called Isaac just took things of the quote to get the quote less. Meaning half of the accident damage not being repaired. His answer was the Panel Beater provide him with photos and he could not see any damages on the rear fender. So he just decide to take that off and not need to repair the fender. My biggest frustration are that he sit behind a computer and just decide to take things off. My opinion is that he need to ask me as the client to get at least two quotes so that he can see if the fender for example is really damaged or not.
Long story at the end my vehicle was returned for that repair. But all the admin behind this is crazy and that he just did nothing. I was asking him what Santam will do to keep me as client as he did not nothing. He did not do a proper job.
As also discovered is that Santam is trying to fix your car with the minimum parts and work for them to save money.
