Supplier sent to repair ripped me off
The complaint is not really for Santam but the service providers used by Santam. i however hold santam responsible because i am their customer and it is their duty to ensure my well being, I called Santam call center on Tuesday the 12th May 2012 just after 19h00, after i got home and found my electricity off, after a short investigation i realised the main switch had tripped, i tried to put it back up however it kept on tripping. I got a call from AA (which i assume is the service provider working to service Santam's customers), they called me to understand what the problem was and promised to send help.to cut a long story service provider Detcon Project arrived on Wed, and concluded that problem was the geyser and that i need a new element and thermostat i went with them to builder's warehouse to buy the 2 required items, thursday night power went off again and i decided to get another service provider to help because detcon told me they would come however i have to pay for call out. the new service provider told me the issue was geyser and again themostat and element , they took them out for me to see and the two were old meaning the ones i bought were never installed.
