Subpar Insurance

My wife and I have been with Santam for twenty years. In these years when we had damage we usually fixed the damage ourselves. We claimed twice in this 20 year period. The first time was when a drunk driver drove me off the road. I claimed and the vehicle was given to a panel beater in the old Zambezi road. The job was a disaster. Nobody from Santam made a phone call to find out how the process went or if we were happy?. We submitted the second claim *** in early January. So far it is also a disaster. I have been without solar now going for two months. The last phone call I made was to them, I was told the accesor has 22 days to finalize claim. If you add all these days together, it takes them months to process a claim. If they treat someone like me who has been with them for twenty years, think how they will treat you. I think Santam is up there with the worst of them. I would like advice on what people think is the best insurance company? Is it Mutual and Federal? Ive heard some good things about them. Some advice will be appreciated.
