Stay away from SANTAM!!!!

I phoned Santam about a week back as my Premium is very high and I got a competitors quotation that was R400.00 cheaper. Santam said they would like to match the competitors premium and that I should not cancel. This was a lie. Santam wanted me not to cancel at that moment so that my debit order still goes off that month. Now I have to pay for my new insurance and Santams premium for this month. I sent them emails which they ignored. I phoned them and I am constantly placed on hold which further depletes my funds.
