Staff are the Pinnacle to success

I purcgased a new vehicle and had it insured by Santam in December 2019. Since my previous vehicle was ****** and insured also by Santam under business use I asked that my new vehicle be insured just the same. About a week ago I asked for insurance documents from Santam just to go through them. I noticed that my current vehicle is insured only for private use. I contacted Santam and spoke to Sheeyaam Abdol. I explained the situation to her and she confirmed it is insured for personal use. I explained to her to about my original conversation. She said that she will escalate the problem but my premiums will go up as the type of insurance will now change. I was upset, but at the same time this was not the fault of Sheeyaam, and the way in which she handled the issue was in no way short of absolute professionalism. This morning, 08 October 2020, I received a call from Sheeyaam to say that the issue was escalated and Santam have brought my premium back to the original amount and will be covered under business. Sheeyaam Abdol, thank you for your absolute courtesy and professionalism in handling my query. It is because of staff like you that a company like Santam will always succeed.
