Speedy and efficient claims

Santam claims have always been a pleasure. I've had some misfortune lately and every claim was settled without question. I've had some windscreen repairs and there is always a follow up - but note that I use an agent not Santam directly. (Nautical Bluestar) In March my car died and was towed to the repairer of my choice (starter motor) with no cost to me. In April my car was smashed by a taxi and the Santam claims consultant was extremely helpful. They offered to take the car to a panelbeater closest to me and I also got a lift from the tow company. An assessor was promptly appointed and reverted with feedback on the claim. (Renzo Canham) Due to the nature of the damage at dealer parts it was a write off, but since the damage was non-structural they accepted a payout to allow me to source my own parts and negotiate with the repairer. I now have a top notch repair with a lifetime warranty on the paintwork. This is why I stick to insurance good and proper.
