SMOKES AND MIRRORS

1. A claim was lodged on 13 March 2022, and no excess fee, on the vehicle policy, was mentioned ( and it would be highly appreciated if the recording of the call can be reviewed). 2. A quotation and photos of the vehicle were forwarded to Santam on 17 May 2022. 3. Consequently, I received a call from Mr Mokulubete, informing me that, the claim is being finalised, however, there is an excess fee of R 4000.00 4. Undoubtedly, I was flabbergasted, because of a previous claim for the same vehicle, with ref.no. ***, in 2019, there was no excess fee. 5. Hence I am of the view, that the excess fee of R4000.00 loaded in my policy or this claim, is in error and would like this matter to be rectified.

Quite frankly, knowing very well that no changes to my policy took place, since inception, this to me is a form of gaslighting by Santam.
