Skyhigh excess + quitting SANTAM

Good day<br> <br> I made a call to Santam about 2 weeks ago about repairing small scratches on my new Nissan X-trail. I was told that the excess is R3500 irrespective of how much or how little the scratches are. That is absolutely bizarre! I pay an installment of at least R2800 per month insurance. For what? <br> <br> Now, please stop sending me e-mails that I must go to MidCity for a quotation to repair my scratches since I now longer want to do that. I will rather get a quote and fix it at my own cost. <br> <br> Also - I will be getting quotes form various Insurance companies as from today. By next week I will cancel my policy at SANTAM.
