***** SANTAM - THE CUSTOMER IS NEVER RIGHT WITH THEM

Our claim was rejected by Santam, upon the assessor coming out to see us, we called the broker and on a recorded line in front of the assessor the broker advised that our claim will not be rejected as we have cover.

He filled out our documents and said it was just confirming old information, even the handwriting is not mine and as we advised the Insurer he could have went and filled out other info after the fact. The one handwriting differs from the other showing it was not done all at once. The initial record of advise was not sent to us.

We followed the necessary procedure, however Santam still decides to side with their broker over the customer, even though we notified them that we were not even offered the correct cover.

The poor service we received is absolutely astounding, to whereby the broker **** to us and said he is not even allowed to contact us, upon calling his superior asking assistance she advised that he was not told that and she will find out and get back to us, which we are still awaiting. If someone can lie about such a simple thing than I cannot understand how his company can believe all his lies.

He assured us that he covered us correctly and he will make sure the claims get sorted out and it will not be rejected.
