Second accessments to nullify claims

He told us proof of maintenance and force entry must be supp**** which we did but claims department still refused to budge on their decision not to rebook at the claims.

Claims department just called my wife and when I asked her to give me the phone they hung up.they still not accepting the break-in and entry, even with all the proof we have. It makes me sick to think how they can just ignore the facts and belittle you

Update,,,I have been writing emails to them all morning and so far they still denying it was storm damage and refuse to send me the first assessor full report, He told me in no uncertain terms that the roof had a kink in it that could ha been caused by the storm we had at tha time . I was however sent the full report of the second assessor that got everything wrong and even mixed up rooms to show "previous leaks" that had nothing to do with the claim, and even denying that he ask me to get on the roof in front of my wife and she even wanted me not to go up but I did.. even his pictures was misleading marking long rows of waterproofing when there was only one leak of about 5cm.
So I'll be getting my own assessments soons and will be taking it to the Ombudsman via an attorney.

New update,, just spoke to the first assessor from Sabindi group clobal, he cormfirm that he told us about the kink in the roof and that it could possibly be storm damage as the leak started right after we had the storm. And the fact that we had no problems with the roof prior to the storm. He also mention that the roof showed buiding up of moss but there was clear places where you coukd se the roof was painted not yo long ago. He however said he did not write out the report so he does not know why it was omitted.

My wife was just told be the assessor that accordin to santam we are not privileged to see the report so I guess we back at square one.

Update with all the heavy rain we had this past weeks our roof did not leak ones, and it's still as unmaintained as it was last year as we still waiting on the ombudsman. And just proofs that what happened last year definitely was storm related and ones off incident.

Just had a very disturbing email from NFO . The second assessor actually replies with snippets from the first assessor report trying to justify his, that Santam told me he was not privy too as in below from they responds to me
"The second assessor was not privy at all to the first contractor’s quote or report"
Clearly showing me that he came armed ready to nullify the first assessors report as he knew exactly what was in it I what to tell us.

This is exactly what he told us on the day of his inspection the pressure of the storm caused a kink in the roof and now the water is settling in the dip and it can't flow out, and because of the movement of the roof sheeting the waterproofing membrane developed small cracks and due to the water now puddling up inside the dipped joint it's slowly leaking through a small hole that has developed.
