Santam - your handyman of choice

I am insured with Santam and had a little leakage in a bathroom pipe.
This happened in September 2014 and my local supplier told me that this should be solved within 3 working days.
But unfortunately Santam, my insurer, tried to solve this problem. May be they assumed to be a better plumber than an insurer. I asked several times to manage this by my own, but they just
act different.
90 days and 2 subcontractor later I followed a publication from the CEO, Ian Kirk, and asked the Internal Arbitrator for support.
What a wonderful experience! The next 7 weeks nothing happened - silence on all communication channels. Than the judge ruled!
He doesn't accept the first option. He also denied the second option, but how unusual! Nobody asked for this option.
He ruled a 3rd alternative but leaves open, why my wish of self-management of this claim - which is according to my policy a valid option, is still ignored by Santam. All this questions are unanswered because the judge acts royal and don't give any justification towards me, the customer.
I have sucessful started to change the insurancer and Santam goes into the 6 month solving a pipe leakage - everything is going to be alright!?
