Good day,
We take note of your post here, as well as a response on a previous post.
You submitted three claims after the 15th of August. One for a burglary, this claim was rejected. Another claim for a motor vehicle accident in October, this claim is still pending and another claim in November for a television set, this claim was withdrawn due to Santam not receiving the required information.
As mentioned previously, for you to have been able to submit these claims, from September until November, your premium had to be paid up to date, which it was, therefore these claims were registered and investigated.
You cancelling your policy, backdated to 15/08, does not warrant a refund of the October and November premiums due to you having claims during that period.
We therefore cannot refund you the premiums as requested.
Kind regards
Client care
