This is a tough one because at the start of a ******* claim I was very disappointed in the lack of communication, especially as it involved my personal safety. The assessor didn't drag his heels, but he left Santam soon after and maybe didn't pass his work on? After many emails I phoned Complaints Dept and got LIzinda Hanekom who listened to my story and said she would sort it out without my having to make any more calls or send emails. She did exactly that-followed up my gate and door fixing-got the contractors back the next day and expedited my claim. As with most companies you get good service and bad, depending on who picks up the phone sometimes. She was excellent, and for this I am giving Santam 4 stars. She saved the day. I will continue to use them.
