Santam Road Side Assistance

If I could rate this with a 0, I would.

After a 12 hour drive from the Free State to Mossel Bay, my car broke down on the N2, 12km before Mossel Bay on the 30th of December 2021, late afternoon.

Because I am insured with Santam, I called the road side assistance, as I was woman alone at the side of a very busy road, almost 1000 km away from home. They left me on hold for 30 minutes "due to shortage of operators".

I therefore called Huandai Road side assistance as I drive a Huandai i10. Within a few minutes I got a call back with arrangements that someone will come for help and tow my car.

No thanks to Santam, who left me on hold, on my phone, on the side of the road, woman alone.
