Santam refusing to pay 3rd party claim properly

My vehicle was involved with another vehicle, insured by Santam on 21 January 2015. The accident occurred because the Santam insured vehicle's driver did not stop at a stop street, and then proceeded to drive into (T-Bone) my vehicle.

Santam's 3rd party department investigated the claim and then decided:

1. To assign 30% blame to my driver. This after my vehicle travelled legally on a road, and was smashed into by Santam insured vehicle, by a driver who did not stop at a stop street.

2. Santam requested me to provide them with 3 quotes, which I duly did. Julia Mogase, who attended to the claim, then requested a new quote from a company I requested a quote from - who duly reduced the ONE quote from R22 000 down to about R14 000. This is not allowed and the Insurance Ombudsman will have to get involved.

3. My quote was simply adjusted without their assessor even having seen my vehicle - does Santam adjust quotes without having seen a vehicle? Again, the Insurance Ombudsman needs to get involved.

4. The driver of Santam insured vehicle has tried to claim from Road Accident Fund, despite clearly not being injured at the scene.

Disgusting service from Santam.
