Santam refused to fix my vehicle

i was involved in a car accident and after i contacted the insurance they instructed me to take the vehicle to their approved panel beater. the panel beater worked on the car, they then took the car to Audi bramfontein without contacting me and when i inquired about this i was told that it is because the engen light was on. when the car came back from Audi it came with a letter stating that the engen was damaged and this was consequential damage due to the fact that the car was driven without oil. the insurance used this letter to say they will not fix the car. i then requested the tracker reports to find out who drove the car last and it reflected that the car was driven for some km while it was with their panelbeater.<br> any attempt to raise the issue with the Santam broker where in vain as Ben the broker kept on coming up with excuses on behalf of Santam. he claimed that the panel beater drove the car because they where test driving it, however test drive or not the car should have reported that the engen oil was low and they must have ignored it. i am now stuck with a car that is not moving and im paying the installment on the car plus my insurance to Santam. Im very displeased..
