Santam refuse to pay ******* claim

A few months ago, we were ****** of R107,000 worth of, mainly electronic equipment.
The police were called and arrived within about 10 minutes.
There was no sign of breaking and entry and the police agreed that this was probably an 'inside job', and one of the workers in the complex managed to get hold of some keys.
My insurers, Santam refuse to pay out the claim, citing a convenient 'let out' clause in the contract absolving themselves of all responsibility if there is no evidence of breaking and entry. In other words if your locks are picked or a ****** squeezes through the burglar bars, that is a ****, not a theft.
After much argument with my broker they begrudgingly agreed to pay out R60,000, this being the amount of our all risks policy. Initially they flatly refused to even pay the all risks amount. I am still R47,000 short from the original claim.
Insurance should work on a basis of trust but that appears not to be the case with this company. I was genuinely ****** and they are using their 'let out' clause to absolve themselves.

Santam, you epitomise everything that is *********, unsavoury, ************ and downright dishonest about big business in this country.
