Santam poor claims and contractors

For the first time in more that 16 years of being a client of Santam I submitted a claim for water damage at my house. After a few back and forth the claim was approved and the contractor that Santam appointed had to come and fix the damage. Santam did not follow up if the job was done and I have to follow up with contractor to come and finish a job that was not done properly and am still waiting for the contractor come and finish a job that should have been done months ago. If this is the quality of contractors a company like Santam has on their panel, should I trust them with future major claim if I struggle with something small like water damage to be fixed????
