Santam Pool Claim Rejection
My swimming pool claim was rejected in 2024 after extreme rain in the Western Cape (even substantiating this with a South African Weather Service report). Their reasoning 'lack of maintenance'. Santam appointed an expert which I found out yesterday doesn't hold any National Spa and Pool Unstitute accreditation. Santam also hides behind the POPI act in verifying their appointed pool expert qualification. Looking forward to unravel this further.....

Words like ''rigorous'', ''Pool Expert''. In essence what Santam is saying we are doing things right but would not make any documentation available nor want to setup a meeting with their Clients should they want more information. Where is the transparency? Who is Arnies Projects T/A A & S Construction who then appoints the ''qualified pool expert'' from Monte Vista Pools? Does this mean Santam doesn't have any qualified Assessor for pools in the Western Cape, Northern Suburbs and the Client just needs to accept their rejection from a pool company that doesn't manufacture not installs pools and not registered with the NSPI?
