Santam only covers themselves

I recently moved from Outsurance to Santam.

I had been with Outsurance for years. However, when I eventually had to claim I found that you struggle to get anything out.

I had heard from a few people that Sanlam's cover is amazing and that you never struggle to get anything out. I regret to say that I think I made a mistake by switching.

My first problem is that we have two vehicles covered by them. They were both quoted for under R600.00n per month. I recently discovered that we are paying more than R800.00 for the one that was supposed to be cheaper to cover. So they are in fact *****ing from us. I am disgusted to say the least.

Not only that but had to recently claim for an accident / break in for that vehicle. And I am being sent from pillar to post. On a daily basis I am introduced to a new person who will "handle the claim". Yet nothing is being handled at all. Nothing is being done. It has been two weeks and Sanlam has taken their umbrella and left e out in the rain to fend for myself.

I really wanted to be one of those people who tells everyone to switch to Santam, because they are so amazing. But I am clearly not going to be able to do so. It is just another insurance company that avoids actually helping by any means necessary.

I am so disappointed.
