santam not owning up to their clients mistakes

On Friday 13/3/2015 an 81yr old Santam client smashed into my stationery car. My car was towed away after I told the man not to tow it. After 2 mnths of endless battles and arguments, the car was assessed by Sean Lewis after he looked at pictures of the car and made the decision that the car was declared uneconomical to repair. He offered me R16705.00. This doesn't allow me to get my car sorted. It seems like Santam doesn't want to help me in any other way. I got 2 panel beater 's to look and assess my car and damages,which they say is repairable, but Santam disagree's. To have my car repaired would cost me to pay in R8000+-,I feel why should I be liable as I was the victim in all of this,which has left me running around for means of transport,whilst Mrs Higgins's car was repaired timeously.
