Santam, no thanks

Santam offer 3 call outs, no charge, per year for plumbers, electricians etc..<br> A couple of months ago we needed a plumber to fix a leaking toilet cistern. A gent arrived, and said he could find no leak. The cistern was still leaking. Contacted Santam and asked that the gent return as he had done nothing .Santam said that this would be counted as another call out, despite the fact that the problem had not been fixed.<br> Last week we asked for another call out. We had to explain that we did not require the geyser person that they wanted to send, and had to explain what a cistern was. A gent arrived and said the leak was fixed. In fact, it is now worse. I have subsequently spoken to at least 5 people, each of whom made reassuring promises, none have materialised. I has now been registered as a claim citing a cracked cistern. I had to explain AGAIN that it was leaking, not cracked and should by fixed as per the emergency assistance . <br> We are still waiting.
