Santam my worst nightmare - Car Claim

Santam is not the best insurer as it is claimed. My wife`s and my car were flooded due to storm rain on the 1st of July. Both cars went in for assessments to “approved panel beaters” on the same day but different insurers. My wife got feedback on the second day from her insurance company. Santam`s turnaround time is 6 days. Since day six, I have been calling them for feedback. I have used more than R600 on airtime, just trying to get feedback. Today is day 14 still no solid answer on the claim. I am the one in distress without a vehicle. So far Santam has been my worst nightmare, after paying my premiums for more than 7 years without claim. This is it.
