SANTAM MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION - CLAIM NO: *** NOT ATTENDED 2 MONTHS LATER
I was involved in a collision, with someone who is covered with Santam. Because I wasn’t at fault I communicated that their insurance (Santam) would be involved in repairing my car. This incident occurred 9 September. Recently I was asked to fill in the paperwork and submit a litany of images as part of the claim process. After a back and forth of many emails, eventually I sent the requested paperwork 26 October. Till date I have not heard from the people who are handling my case namely; ***, and *** and ***. Who seem to either be on leave when I communicate or will send me once off acknowledgements or request paperwork that I need to fill in, thenonwards will not communicate a way forward. I am frustrated and livid with the quality of service and often the lack of communication the accident division was has within themselves. More importantly, is this work ethic a norm for the company? This sure, is a lesson for any future claim whether it is accident related or life cover.
Thank you for your review.
We are really sorry to hear this and wish to investigate the matter.
However the claim number you provided is incorrect and does not refer to a motor vehicle accident.
Kindly provide us with the correct claim number and we will investigate this matter?
Thanking you in advance.

The claim number does not refer to a vehicle claim so is not the correct claim number.
Most probably the reasons why these individuals did not react as the claim number is not correct -- they should have at least acknowledged your emails which is not acceptable.
I would suggest you reach out to the client's broker and request the correct claim number please -- the one you provided is for a claim for a camera.
Thank you and kind regards
