Santam Lawyer Threatening and Demanding

Last year I was involved in a car accident which was not my fault. A year later I was contacted by a Santam lawyer who started off demanding a ridiculous amount of money to be paid within five working days. His communication pursued with assumptions and threats of summons. Despite numerous requests to have an extention to seek legal advice and prepare my case he will not allow me more time and has been harassing me with emails and calls re the summons. I would like to work with Santam to resolve this matter but cannot work with this. I had always thought Santam to be a professional company who cared about people ....where is the umbrella instead this has been the worst experience ever! His treatment of me has really tarnished the Santam brand in my eyes and I hope that Santam will honour what it's brand stands for. I would like to make a further appeal to be granted time to prepare and have the summons retracted.
