Santam Keeps Charging For A Policy that I cancelled and still Owes a refund

On the 25 March I emailed Santam and requested that my Policy with Them be cancelled in its entirety . I received an automated response immediately confirming receipt of my email . Next morning a Santam Consultant called me to confirm my request to cancel the policy . I was assured I would receive a full refund for the amount of R974.61 charged on the 25 March 2020 as it is charged in advance .

Over a month later no refund was received , instead Santam again charged my account yesterday 28 April 2020 with an amount of R1073.65 for a policy that they confirmed would be cancelled . I am paying bank charges and interest as Santam had no authority to continue charging my account when the policy was supposed to be cancelled . Santam needs to issue me with a refund for both amounts R974.61 March 25 2020 , plus R1073.65 April 28 2020 .

I should hold Santam liable for the bank charges as well as interest on the funds they owe me . Policy Number ***

This is just unacepptable that Santam keeps charging me for a policy that I cancelled . In addition they still owe a refund which they promise to process , which just never happened

I have an email confirmation dated the 25 March where Santam confirmed receipt of my request to cancel the Policy
