Santam - is not good nor propper

I have moved from Dial Direct to Santam after being persuaded by friends and family alike, I agreed to a higher premium to what I thought would give me peace of mind - Boy was I wrong... After about 4 months of being a Santam I client- I submitted a claim for an accidental damage to a 32inch LED TV and Santams response was that they don't cover accidental damage unless specified, to which I protested as they covered my cousins and father in laws accidental damaged goods. Their response was that I did not specify it and that they do not add it under general comprehensive for a while now, my father in law and cousin is probably working through an insurance broker. (which they are after asking) This left me with a bitter taste as I left Dial direct which offers this as standard. Then on the 1st February 2019 a pedestrian physically ran into my wife's car and this caused damage to the passenger door and fender - after reporting the matter to the police I informed Santam of the claim and after 15 days of following up with them they finally decide to act - they cross questioned me and my wife as if we are ********* and even though i gave them the case number multiple times. Eventually car is inspected and approved for partial repairs (door, fender but not the scratch that goes form fender onto the bumper) they then conveniently do not get me a courtesy car as required and specified in my policy. It is now more than a month and they still have not fixed the problem. I called their customer service center to complain and inform them that I will be leaving them to join a different insurer they reply "sorry you feel that way is there anything else I can help with" flippen hopeless I now have to be stuck with them for another month untill they can finalize my claim or they wont pay at all if I leave them prior.

Santam sucks - do not leave what you have as it will be better.
