Santam is ***
If I could give 0 I would they are not at all the best insurer. I have been with the company for 7 years and never claimed until 13 November when my geyser burst they sent out a Mickey Mouse plumber called quickfix and like the name that is what they did 15days later the element burned and I requested that they replace the geyser because it is new they refused because it was not default but an installation error. I bit if I was white they would’ve replace as the element could have caused a fire. Santam is quick to take your premium but they don’t deliver the service you are paying for. I last a whole days worth of work because I had to wait for there plumber. Do not insure with Santam especially if you are a person of color they take you money and **** you over

04 Dec 2020, 18:41If race does not have anything to do with it then why do I get second rate service from the so call number 1 insurance the people you sent to my house did not even follow covid regulation. The geyser is not even 15 days old. Your company is quick to take money when it comes to monthly premium and promise to deliver excellent service but that is all a LIE. You ask for excess when you have a claim when your installer do a **** job that could have burnt my house down you play dump. You are a bunch of white collar ***** who take people of color for a fool. I would have never been treated like this if I was a white man that is for sure. You treat the small people like **** but if I was a white executive my issue would have been sorted. If this was not a race thing then why did you sent Third rate suppliers to do my house
