Santam is a waste of time and money with 0 customer focus.

The worst experience and service specifically from Gladiator Bluestar in Somerset West. I am acting on behalf of my aged parents who had serious/permanent damage to their vehicle, and despite the fine print to say that they are not covered for mechanical failure or negligence (the infamous parachute when you need it hey!), all I am trying to obtain is a letter stating this from Santam for the Third Party Claim. It was a ridiculous and ironic 7 working day wait (for something that they are not covering from the word GO) and when I follow up after 10 working days the broker is only now asking for information in order to process this unclaimable claim. This is not the first VERY NEGATIVE experience from Santam. I cannot urge anyone enough to steer clear.
