Santam is a terrible insurance I have ever had.

On the 28 Feb 2016 while driving from Polokwane to Soweto I had a break down and upon investigation I was told that my car had a damaged clutch and as such it was not driveable. I then called my insurance for roadside assistance so that they can tow my car to pretoria as I was at the Nyl Plaza tollgate.<br> <br> To my shock, the lady who was helping me told me that they can only tow my car to Mokopane which was like few km from the nyl plaza tollgate and if I want to get it towed to Jeep Pretoria or Polokwane jeep, I will have to pay for those costs. <br> <br> As a woman who was stranded 200 km away from my home, the insurance should have done everything they could to make sure that my problem get resolved and also sent police to make sure that I'm safe but they never did that.<br> <br> The insurance then sent me messages that my car was towed and safely back in Soweto which was a lie because I ended up getting help from Jeep road side assistance who towed my car for free to Polokwane Jeep.<br> <br> This insurance is ***** and does not care about the safety of their me members.
