Santam is a rogue insurance company

I had a claim for hail damage which i logged in december as this incident happend end of November. What a rough 3 months to have my claim sorted out. The delays etc. Santam is not a good insurance company. I hate this company with all my heart. My damage for the hail costed me R22000 which i had to pay before they paid me out imagine that. Top it all i had to borrow this money with interest to have my car fixed. Santam only paid me R15000. What is a point of having full comprehensive cover???? Top it all the claim assessor is a arrogant fool. He thinks he is gods gift to earth. I complained numerous times but not once i ever received a courtesy call from management or someone who took my complaints seriously. They must dare now to ask me why i am cancelling. I requested quotes from other insurance companies. Infact i decided to join another insurance company. Santam has left a poor taste in my mouth. I will never recommend anyone to them. They are infact the worst insurance company to join. You will be left heart sore like i did. You think you covered fully but they make you pay for your damages first and top it all they dont cover the full cost. Beware people. I will gladly prove this with my invoices and receipts. I am literally done with this company!
