Santam is a **** guys 😳😳😳

So I took insurance with Santam under my broker Iemas… Out of all the quotes that were given to me, I choose SANTAM which was not the cheapest!! I choose them because I have a good experience with them from the past!!!

It’s a shame that today Iam experiencing something totally different. So I have a household insurance with them and I recently put in a claim for a broken television and a washine machine.

When assessing the claim for the washine machine, the insurer said to me that they cannot pay me for what I didn’t have. So she lowered it down to accommodate the kind of machine that I had, which I also felt was fair!!

However with the TV it’s a completely different story..Am being told that for a 75 inch which costs 23 000 they only give me 10 000!! 😳😳😳 Apparently because it was damaged by the kids the incidental cover only cover 10 000!! Not even half of what my TV costs!!!

After being with SANTAM for so many years am beyond devastated and cannot accept the measly 10 000 for a TV that costs 23 000.

I have instructed my broker to deal with this matter and also find me a new insurance should we fail to reach a conclusion with SANTAM!!

Am so dissapointed!! Shame on you SANTAM
