Santam Insurance ********* business practices

I was involved in a motor vehicle accident where the insured party was 100% to blame. I had 7 days prior spent R74, 000.00 on a Golf 4 GTI when the collission occurred. Santam, the insurer, made an offer to settle based on the assumption that I was to blame for 40% of the damages with the apportionment being 60/40 according to their interpretation. This results in me only receiving R18, 000.00 back plus a wreck that is practically worthless. How can this be fair?I made detailed representations to them that any reasonable person would agree with. They however simply ignored this and rejected my claim. They even used this well known phrase \ Any action against our client
