SANTAM INSURANCE SUCKS!!!!
The worst service ever received from an insurance company. We submitted a claim 3 weeks ago and to date received no feedback whatsoever whether the claim is approved or not. Yesterday was the first communication in which we were informed that it will take a minimum of another 10 days before they will reach a decision on whether they are going to pay out or not.

09 Jul 2025, 11:51Today is 9 July 2025 and still NO response or attempt made to address and reslolve this problem. No contact made as per your commitment above!! You can just as well close your Client Care department because they are missing in action!! What a pathetic company!! A claim submitted in the month of May and on July 9, more than two months later the claim is still not approved without any communication to explain the reason/s for the delay but, they are not ashamed to collect a big monthly premium over a period of many years. We regret the day that we decided to do business woth Santam Insurance!!

You can just as well close your Client Care department because they are missing in action!! What a pathetic company!! 14 Jul 2025, 19:05Today Santam Client Care Centre informed me that our household policy is on my wife’s name and I, as her husband is not entitled to handle our claim what I joke!!! What a pathetic reason to not investigate complaints from clients in a proper manner, take appropriate action and give clients constructive feedback. More than two months and our claim is still not finalized. Apparently they would ensure that the broker will give my wife proper feedback which also still did not happen. During this claim process Santam showed their lack of commitment and ability to investigate and resolve client problems and, that client satisfaction is a low on their priority list. Well done Santam but, we regret the day on which we decided to be associated with the Insurance Company named Santam!
