santam insurance is also one of the *****es!!

I used to think that this insurance company was one of the best until two months ago when their client bumped into me and drove off, fortunately i was able to take down their registration number and it was delivery van from Ultraliquor i called my husband so that he can find out whose it belonged to. After discovering where the truck was from my husband and I when to report the matter, the manager received us very well and he took down our details. He stated to us that the driver had not come back from his deliveries and did not report anything about an accident. He then advised we bring him a statement, a case number from the police and 3 quotes for his insurance purposes. I did all that was required and him and I were on the same page. He later apologized on behalf of his employee who was driving saying the guy said he was not even aware that he bumped me hence he drove off and that everything would be sorted out immediately. A month went by with no communication so I decided to make a follow up, I emailed the manager asking what the progress was. He told me that the he was waiting on the decision of directors of ultraliquor because apparently the access is more that the amount to fix my car so maybe they will opt to fix it without using the insurance. A day later I received an email saying the matter is being dealt with by their insurance, so immediately I contacted Lerato the person i was told to contact she asked for all the documents I had already sent to the manager and more, I comp****. Not so long after that I was sent an email by this Lerato telling me that my claim was rejected because me and this other driver were reversing at the same time which was not true and was clearly stated in my statement, out of furry I called her and clarified the matter. She promised to come back to me...so I waited two weeks thereafter she sent me another email stating that now claim is bring rejected because their driver is denying that he bumped me saying that I was the one who bumped him. All the evidence is there but they refuse to see it. Now this Lerato is saying they have to take their clients word over mine. So if I was a santam client I cause an accident flee the scene and later denied it they will take my word for it TO TOP IT ALL UP THE MANAGER I DEALT WITH FROM THE ONSENT KNOWS NOTHING OF THIS, HE THOUGHT MY CAR WAS FIXED ALREADY AND HE HAD NO IDEA THAT NOW THE DRIVER DENIES ACCOUNTABILITY ....WoW santam I never knew u fall under the same category of insurance ******. Im confident that the ombudsman or any other organization that i will use to fight this will come out on top.
