Santam Insurance Claim

Santam is by far the worst insurance company to use. We registered a claim on 19.04.2022 due to flood damage. they referred Prentis assessors whom only came out on the 06.05.22. Thereafter we only received feedback on the 23.05.22 of which we had to call and follow up on, only to be told that Derek prentis is now not happy with the assessor that HE sent out initially and now a whole new assessment needs to be completed, so we have to adjust our work schedules and wait even longer to repair our damages, to accommodate their incompetence. Reported the incident to Santam management, whom only promises to get back to us but never does so. I regret my choice of moving all my policies to Santam and definitely considering moving everything back to ABSA. Pathetic service received.
