Santam Insurance

I had a tyre blow out on the N2 between the R300 and Mew Way offramp on February 10. My vehicle does not come out with a spare wheel, only a compressor. The tyre was too badly damaged to re-inflate. I was forced to call a low bed tow .truck to get my vehicle home. I was on the most dangerous part of the N2 highway and had my wife with me. I took the first tow truck that arrived. The cost for getting my vehicle home was R1400.00 which I am trying to recover from Santam. I have made so many calls to Santam in this regard, it is almost like begging. Very bad experience, after being insured with Santam for many years. I would NOT recommend them to anyone.
