Santam insists on grey chinese parts
Santam insists in repairing my vehicle with grey chinese parts. This will have a negative impact on my vehicle integrity, my safety and will lower the value of the vehicle which is unfair to me. This has being going on since Nov 2023. I have being told by SANTAM they want to save costs...huh...at who's expense?

14 Mar 2024, 10:58This is absolute nonsense. There is no such thing as certified grey parts. There is no certificates stating the parts were manufactured and tested to a recognized standard. Grey parts are cheap Chinese copies of OEM parts. SANTAM does not take overall responsibility of road safety nor do they care about the safety of their clients. What they say in the media and what they do are 2 different things.
