Santam - if you're looking for excellent service, look the other way

What a ***** company. They aren't very transparent, would write your car off the first chance they get and provide you a mediocre offer (why am I paying such a high premium if you are just gonna offer me less than half of what the car is insured for). Broker is useless; I had to do all the following up with Santam. Also the way they operate is so unprofessional. How the hell can the assessor make me an offer on a car, which he wants write off without speaking to my insurance, Santam first? By the way this is an external contractor to Santam. The deciding power should be with the insurance service provider. It just shows you they do not give two ****s about advocating for the client. The impression I get is that they really do not give a **** about you, they just want to take your money and when it is time for them to step-up and provide the service you need,then its 500 other things. They want to take as much from you as possible and they don't even try and hide it. In this case the hello peter reviews do not lie. They have an overall 2 rating for a reason.
