Santam & EuropCar - awful
I took my car for repairs and am entitled to a rental. I asked for this while I was at the panel beater at 830. I was told that when an automatic vehicle was available I would be contacted to arrange delivery because I informed them that I would be out of the office. In the afternoon I was phoned by some stranger in my office complex saying europcar was lost and could not determine which building I was in this is after I gave them my company name and I told Santam I would be in midrand for meetings. I had to get a lift home from someone and eventually received my rental that night at around 7pm. I pay a monthly premium to avoid such inconvenience. I do not understand why Santam does not hold it's service providers to specific service delivery standards to avoid such service.<br> <br> On Tuesday morning I get into the rental to drive it to work. I joined the highway from Melrose and just before the woodmead off ramp my tyre burst. I could have killed myself or someone else because clearly no care was taken to check the quality of the tyres on the vehicle I was in. Again it took a whole day to receive any service from Santam or europcar. I get the
