Santam does not take your circumstances in account, it's all about numbers

<p>I rent, I don't own my place. So when I updated my address, Santam wanted me to install items that I have no control of. I said I couldn't and then they decided to not only say that for them to cover me, that violent entry needs to have occured, but I need to pay excess of R10000.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am fine with the violent entry but R10000 excess as well? Then when I asked them to remove the excess, after a number of conversations, they basically insuated that my neighbours could be ******* and on top of that, I might want to look at a competitor.</p> <p> </p> <p>The willing to cover my car but not my flat contents. Which does not even come to half the price of my vehicle. Don't have much valuables.</p> <p> </p> <p>They do not take your circumstances into account, instead it's all about numbers. I suggest, go elsewhere, shop around.</p>
