SANTAM DELAY ON TRANSFORMER ISSUE.

Pacific Eagle Properties has a business insurance with SANTAM which includes transformers that supply electricity to blocks of flats. On Saturday the 20th November Musina Municipality was called out to check the problem. they reported that the transformer had been struck by lightning. Tabo Electrical our electrical contractor on site was alerted and also checked the transformer and found the same result, transformer blown. I reported this problem to SANTAM as well as the issue that there are 64 families that are affected by this problem. Up until now 13 days later the assessor has not reported back to SANTAM what his findings are. surely with 64 families being without electricity there should be some urgency in the matter. Obviously SANTAM 's assessor has a don't care attitude, Pacific Eagle Properties has had to replace the transformer R147 000 at it's own cost while the assessor just ignores all my requests for answers.
