SANTAM CAR INSURANCE *******.

A young girl came through stationery cars, waiting for the robot to turn green and hit me on my front door on the right side of my vehicle. I am not insured and she was 100% responsible for the accident, yet Santam wants to deduct 30% of her damage from me and only wants to pay me R9376.81. I submitted the cheapest quotes that I could get .They choose the cheapest of the 3 quotes submitted which was R17751.80 and they will pay me 70% of that, less 30% of their client's damaged. I have contacted them and they are adamant not to pay me more. If the law states that only 70% of a 3rd party claim can be paid out then I will abide by that but why must I pay for her damage when she caused the accident? Even their Client cannot understand that, as the excess was paid by him. This happened in January and for the last 4 month I had to climb over to the passenger side to get out of my car as the driver door cannot open.
