Santam car insurance payout.

I was involved in a car accident on Friday 29 October 2021. My car is to be written off. It is now 23 November 2021. I have still not received the payout from the insurer. Is it supposed to take so long? Is this the industry standard or am I just unlucky? Just wanted to know if I'm being impatient or not.
