Santam: Beware of Blue Star Brokers

I have been a loyal Santam and Sanlam client and was led to understand that their Blue Star Franchises represent their best advisors.<br> <br> Foe this reason and because of the often complex nature of the advice needed, I took a decision not to go via a direct channel, but via a trusted Sanlam advisor. My expectation is that they will look after my best interest and advise me accordingly.<br> <br> This is mot the case. Recently I had the misfortune of a claim, only to realize that my request of no additional payment was not honored. As a client I was told this is my sole responsibility and not theirs.<br> <br> I have come to accept this, but what really disappoints is the way I was treated in this process by Mr Thomas the regional manager in Bloemfontein and the owner of the Franchize Mrs Terry.<br> <br> Their communication and EQ is poor, and I expect more from a blue chip like Sanlam and Santam.<br> <br> Seriously disappointed!
