Santam Bad Service does not want to fix my vehicle
Good morning everyone
I really dont know what to do or what to say anymore? i am so close of canceling my insurance or letting my lawyers or ombudsman take over this case, i really have no more words This whole accident that was not even my fault cause me so much stress, unease, alot of time and money and now is taking atoll on my work
I have always been waiting and not complaining, i pay in insurance and always up to date with it,
The Sym goes back and forward and still is not fixed, this could just been avoided if the SYM was written off
when i got the s****** back after lock down was driving good then all of the sudden it started to smell weird, cut out, struggling to start and vibrating and bouncing a lot on the stand, something was not right so i let my broker know and send it back to Suzuki
i was waiting for the 06/11/2020 fo the bike to be collected and 27/11/2020
So when i got the SYM back i still notus that it was smoking a little bit i thought it was condensation and still had a weird smell so i drove it to work made it to work and back
i did not drive the weekend, Monday started the Sym up was smoking again and weird smell so drove to work got there after work went to get my hair cut, when i was done got on the SYM i could not start it it was just swinging and swinging i had to push the throttle completely open for it to start then when it took i drove it and it cut out twice, when i got home i switched it on and off still struggle to start it had that smoke again and smelled
So i Really dont know what was done to the bike by Suzuki and why it took so long and it comes back with the same problems
I am asking u with tears in my eyes and i beg of someone to please help me, i can't go on like this anymore this is a R23k bike we are talking about not a ferrari, and it my only transport
Must I just keep on driving the bike like this until it does not drive anymore?
i can't even sell the bike, because of the mechanical condition it is in

Car Insurance companies in South Africa will each use their own formula to determine when a vehicle is a total loss and must disclose it to you when you sign the insurance agreement with them.
