SANTAM BACKOUT ON COMMERCIAL CLAIM - DO NOT TRUST

PLEASE BE CAREFUL - WE HAVE BEEN AND ARE STILL BEING CHEATED BY SANTAM / DEDEKIND & LOEWENTHAL ASSESSORS AFTER A BEING LOYAL CUSTOMER SINCE 1976!!!!<br> <br> We had a fire in our store last year (Wimpy Ermelo) and lodged a claim with Santam. An assessor was appointed by the name of Riki Mellet (DEDEKIND & LOEWENTHAL ASSESSORS ). It has been a back an forth struggle due to assessor not communicating correct details through to Santam, but also on Santam not questioning the conduct of their Assessor contractors after numerous complaints. <br> <br> The fire was due to a MR Price store next door catching fire, and then the fire spilled over to our store. It could not be prevented by any action on our part, and after explaining this to Santam and Riki Mellet it seems that they are now looking for every excuse in the book not to settle the claim. They are now also keeping us stuck in a legal battle hoping that eventually we will give up. <br> <br> BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR COMMERCIAL INSURANCE. PROMISES MADE OF LONG TERM RELATIONSHIPS AND PROTECTING YOUR BUSINESS BUT WHEN THE STORM HITS THEY BACK OUT!!!! DO NOT TRUST SANTAM... AND BE CAREFUL WHEREVER RIKI MELLET OR DEDEKIND & LOEWENTHAL ASSESSORS ARE INVOLVED.
