run as far as you can from santam

My car was parked in a leitimate parking bay. The Santam client parked behind ne but failed to put his car in gear and pulled up his hand brake which did not hold the car .Hi car then ramped the pavement and crashed into the back of my car.The accident happened on the 5 une 2017.We handed all documenation over with quotes within a day or two .We never heard anything back from Santam, I would phone and would be passed from centre to centre.Only to be told they dont have the documents, please send them again or they are almost completed and are about to appoint a panel beater and then they have to be sent to the legal department. This is where we came across Mongamele who when you contact him says he will return your call shortly -that never happens to emails that we are still waiting for .Only to eventually to be told by another department that they sent an email on the 30 une saying they wont be covering the cost of the repairs because it wasnt the clients fault that his car crashed into mine. We will have to bear the cost of our own repairs.I said when did you email this to me -on the 30 th they say. But I have no receipt of this email.,It then emerges they do not even have my email address so how could they have sent this email. How is it possible that im an innocent bystander but the client is now innocent and his insurance company doesnt have to pay for my repairs or is it because I complained about the service that I was receiving from Mongamele that he feels that he can exert some power now and make this rediculous decision. Santam clients should be forced to have some sign so that road users can avoid them like the plague. The service from Santam staff is less than desirable.
