Rejected claim due to mi2p via assessor
I am a client of santam, I registered a claim. In December 2021 for a tv and a hifi. Initially I was told to get a dmaae report and price check. My hifi went for inspection but the guy did not take the TV as he told that is was. Not feesable to repair. SANTAM had called me stating they will pick up the items for assessment and I told them only the TV is at home and that the hifi was already gone for assessment. They guy came and took the TV away For assessment. I received a call from the Claims consultant saying the TV claim was rejected due to physical damage. I registered this claim with only tv not cummin on.. The assessor said lcd was cracked. No ways this was done by me. I definitely believe that the company sent by santam damaged this TV. I told them to bring this TV back to be soo I can see but still awaiting. Sent emails to my claims consultant with no reply. I paid R18 999 for this samsumg TV and Negligence from the assessor I am sitting with a rejected claim. As we as clients are under oath santam should take blame for the assessor ls negligence which they have damaged my TV. I did say that the TV was not cummin on. Now how can the lcd be damaged. I have proof of emails sent. Also I am a professional nurse an di certainly would not lie. All I want is to make right by santam.
